I have a 2007 2.2 Type S GT with 28,000 on the clock so not a lot of ware, yet last week the oil light came on on the main console, the warning also has an exclamation mark next to it, if significant, I checked the oil and was fine but still added a slight amount, now the levels just below the top mark, yet the light is still on.

I did the gearbox oil change today anyone that may be looking on this thread on how to do the change you will need 14mm washer for the drain bolt, 20mm for the fill bolt. Both are 3/4 type to undo and the fill bolt requires the battery and tray to be removed with a long extension bar to reach onto the Would add my recommendation too. Took a 56 plate 2.2 CDTi from 0 to 125k miles with no problems. Nice drive, comfortable, low 40s mpg (I am not an economical driver), good load capacity and did OK

The Civic 2.2 i-CTDI fits me perfectly, 5 doors, big boot, good on fuel, far from sluggish, and a good design. I have just purchased a second hand Honda Civic 2.2 Diesel. When I have parked the car on the drive and then reversed off I have noticed there is a small pool of Oil on the floor in areas where I have parked. These appear to come from the middle of the engine area on the right side. I have checked the Oil level and it is fine.
