I chose the engine, the nitrous, and the turbo upgrades. I haven't really noticed a difference though. Can you get more upgrades for the same parts without cancelling out their effects? The unique parts won with outruns are just the "level 3" parts which you can buy at the shops (I've you've unlocked them).
